2007 Europe Trip: Hvar Croatia
During most of August 2007 Tricia and I visited several locations throughout Europe. These pictures were taken on the island of Hvar off the coast of Croatia. Thanks to the mild climate, the warm winters and pleasant summers Hvar receives many guests, scientists and travellers, who are attracted by the dense Mediterranean nature that is not yet destroyed by the industry, so that you can enjoy the fresh fish wit domestic olive oil and the excellent wine amongst other. Hvar was called the"Austrian Madeira" before the 1st World War, and today it is considered to be one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world.
